This pristine valley preserves the remains of the impressive antimony mines, a complex encompassing 40 mine tunnels all connected with old miners’ footpaths. Indeed, hikers on this route will have the opportunity to see some of these tunnels up close. Passing through here and seeing the orifices in the rock face, one can get a grasp of how extensive the mining operations once were. Continue along this path to arrive at Agiasmata, the port of Keramos, where you can find the derelict remains of mines side by side with thermal hot springs and spa installations.
